Acting Chief Election Commissioner of the Election Commission, Ram Prasad Bhandari, has met with National Assembly Speaker Narayan Prasad Dahal.
Commissioner Bhandari met with Chairman Dahal at his office in Singha Durbar on Monday afternoon. During the meeting, Bhandari informed him about the preparations and work done by the commission for the National Assembly election to be held on Magh 11, according to the Chairman's personal secretariat.
He also informed him about the work being done by the commission for the House of Representatives election to be held on Falgun 21. On the occasion, Chairman Dahal said that the Election Commission's proactivity and initiative have created a good atmosphere for the election and that the work of the commission to make the election successful is commendable. Chairman Dahal also said that the National Assembly is ready to provide necessary support in the election work.
