Ghanashyam Bhusal, coordinator of the Unified Socialist Reorganization, has said that there will be no political debate in the newly formed Nepali Communist Party.

He pointed to  NCP coordinator Pushpa Kamal Dahal,  Co-coordinator Madhav Nepal,  and said that he was in the minority on the issue of unity with the Maoists, but he had taken forward the left unity campaign.

He told Bhusal, 'There is no political debate in (NCP). If there is a question of principle, there will be a throat-scratching. There is a question of positions and elections. Not of ideas.'  He said that the NCP leaders who compromise with crony capitalism are liberal even though they have different ideas within the NCP.
