The Ministry of Women, Children and Senior Citizens has called on all agencies to celebrate the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence with grandeur, expressing shared commitment and solidarity.

The ministry has issued a circular to all relevant bodies, urging them to celebrate the campaign with various programs from November 25 to December 10, like every year. According to Mamta Bista, Chief Women Development Officer of the Gender Violence Prevention Branch under the ministry, the campaign has been called to be celebrated across the country with the participation of all three levels of government, schools, organizations and stakeholders.  Under the

campaign, this year's international slogan has been decided as 'Let's unite to end digital violence against all women and girls' and the national slogan has been decided as 'Let's use technology wisely: End gender violence'.  The main objective of the

campaign is to spread public awareness against gender violence and prevent violence through the wise use of technology.
