According to Mamta Bista, Chief Women Development Officer of the Gender Violence Prevention Branch under the ministry, the campaign has been called to be celebrated across the country with the participation of all three levels of government, schools, organizations and stakeholders. Under the
campaign, this year's international slogan has been decided as 'Let's unite to end digital violence against all women and girls' and the national slogan has been decided as 'Let's use technology wisely: End gender violence'. The main objective of the
campaign is to spread public awareness against gender violence and prevent violence through the wise use of technology.
