Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal has called a meeting of the Central Security Committee.

A security committee meeting has been called to discuss the current security situation, a ministry official said. The meeting is set to begin shortly.

Home Secretary Rameshwor Dangal, a Nepali Army lieutenant colonel, Nepal Police IGP Dan Bahadur Karki, Armed Police Force Chief Raju Aryal, National Investigation Department Chief Tekendra Karki, and the ministry's Peace and Security Division Chief Anand Kafle will participate in the meeting.

The meeting is also expected to discuss the protest and agitation programs announced by various groups.
