Prime Minister Sushila Karki has directed to further accelerate the work as the progress so far is not satisfactory.

Addressing a review meeting on the implementation of the policy, program and budget action plan for the fiscal year 2082/83 at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers on Friday, the Prime Minister's Secretariat said that the working style should be changed in accordance with the latest political changes and the sentiments of the new generation.

'The main reason for the public's dissatisfaction is the various types of corruption prevalent in the country and the inaction and slowness seen in the country's development,' said Prime Minister Karki. 'The administrative leadership, including honorable ministers and secretaries, has an important role to play in controlling irregularities and corruption in the government machinery. I would like to instruct them to remain clean and to work responsibly to promote cleanliness in their bodies.' She thanked everyone for achieving some work despite various reasons such as the unusual environment created by the Gen-G generation's protests on Bhadra 23 and 24, monsoon-related disasters, and long public holidays during festivals.'

Prime Minister Karki said, 'I would like to thank everyone here, the process of reviewing the progress of the work done by the ministries is not just an administrative process, it is a good practice of accountability. This type of exercise is an opportunity to enhance the government's work and the people's trust and faith in it.'

She said that the government continues to operate its administrative process, but the aspirations of the people are not being addressed, and government resources are being mobilized for the public good. 'We have all seen firsthand that the anger of the general public, especially the younger generation, has exploded destructively due to the people's failure to realize and make them realize it,' she said.

She called on all responsible officials, including ministers and secretaries, to work in a way that meets the people's expectations, and to mobilize their subordinate bodies effectively to produce results that make the people feel the changes and reforms.'

The Prime Minister said that all ministries and agencies are in the process of revising their annual action plans as per the decision of the meeting of the Government of Nepal, Council of Ministers on 2082 Asoj 5 regarding the reconstruction and repair of public structures damaged during the Bhadra 24 protests, operation of public services, election expenditure management, re-prioritization of projects for economic revival and relief, reduction of unproductive expenditure and maintaining frugality.
