As the Ujjaya Nepal Party (UNEPA) moves forward under the leadership of Kulman Ghising, documents including a new working committee and statute have been registered with the Election Commission for updating.
As Ghising is currently a minister in the interim government, the party details have been updated by making former secretary Anup Kumar Upadhyay the president. Upadhyay has said that Ghising will become the party president after leaving the post of minister.

UNEPA has sent the list of only 51 members to the Election Commission. The list of central committee members that has reached the Election Commission for registration includes Chairman Anup Kumar Upadhyay. He is the former Secretary of the Ministry of Energy.

Ashutosh Vijay Pant, Dambar Lawati, Hira Prasad Soti (Kiran BK), Somprasad Chaudhary, Vijay Kandel, Arvind Sah, Dhan Bahadur Mikchan, Kushal Gurung, Nitraz Silwal, Lakpa Footi Sherpa, Subhash Pradhan, Jitram Lama, Saraswata Subba are also included One of them is Tasi Lhajom .
