CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli has said that the country is in a difficult situation and needs to be brought out of it.
He said that the UML has started a new campaign and that Ramkumari Jhankri and Kisan Shrestha and other friends have finally returned to their own home in the party in a grand manner. He said that there were rumors that the CPN-UML has become small-minded and narrow-hearted, and that it is the party that has received the most votes from the people, and that there is a situation where it is possible to live broadly within the party.
He also argued that the youth with power and ability, targeting the leaders of the CPN-UML who went to the Maoists, have come to the UML and are unable to work. Even though the UML called for it, they did not say that they would give anything. They did not say that they wanted anything. They said that they would return home. He also said that the party would appreciate those who returned to the UML without great expectations or greed, saying that they came with a destination in mind. He did not name the Nepali Communist Party, but he was sarcastic about some leaders leaving after determining their priorities.
Oli said that some had said in parliament that he would create a Bangladesh. He also quoted what the then Maoist chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal had said. He claimed that UML was not a loose organization but an ocean, and said that there was a large number of youth in UML.
He said, 'UML has youth from every household, not Facebook. UML has become empty on Facebook. But those who write that UML has become empty should be written as lies in the comments below. That is how much UML is lacking.' He said that UML is lacking in likes and shares and said that it should move forward in that too.
