According to the weather forecast issued by the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain and snowfall in some places in the high hilly and mountainous areas of some provinces on Monday and Tuesday. In the context of the possibility of rain and snowfall in Nepal from Tuesday to Friday due to two low-pressure systems formed in the Bay of Bengal and the Arabian Sea, the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology is conducting a detailed analysis in this regard, and the Authority has also received information that the forecast will be issued soon.
It will be generally partly cloudy in the hilly areas of Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim Provinces this afternoon and partly cloudy in the rest of the Terai region. According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, there is a possibility of light rain/snowfall at one or two places in the high hilly and mountainous regions of all the provinces.
Similarly, it will be generally cloudy in the remaining hilly areas including Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim Provinces tonight and partly cloudy in the rest of the Terai region. The weather bulletin issued by the division states that there is a possibility of moderate rain/snowfall at a few places in the hilly and mountainous areas of Gandaki and Karnali Provinces and at one or two places in the remaining hilly and mountainous regions including Lumbini Province.
