Transfer of 31 Home Ministry employees including Chief District Officer

The Ministry of Home Affairs on Sunday transferred Chief District Officers and Joint Secretaries of various districts.

As per the decision of the ministry on Sunday, 36 employees including Joint Secretaries and Principal District Officers have been transferred and posted. In a notification issued by the ministry on Sunday evening, it has been stated that a total of 31 Chief District Officers, one Chief Immigration Officer, two Joint Secretaries and two Directors General have been transferred and posted.

Chief Immigration Officer of Gautabuddha International Airport Khimbadur Rayamajhi has been made the Chief District Officer of Jumla. Chief District Officer of Jumla Kedarnath Sharma has been made the Chief Immigration Officer of Gautabuddha International Airport. Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Home Affairs Basudev Ghimire has been transferred to the Chief District Officer of Jhapa, while Chief District Officer of Jhapa Gopal Kumar Adhikari has been transferred to the Chief District Officer of Kavrepalanchok.

Similarly, Joint Secretary of Home Gogan Bahadur Hamal has been posted as the Chief District Officer of Bardiya, while Bardiya Chief District Officer Surendra Poudel has been transferred to Siraha. Similarly, Director General of National Identity Card and Registration Department Yubaraj Kattel has been transferred to the Chief District Officer of Morang, while Morang Chief District Officer Indradev Yadav has been sent to Mahottari.

Director General of Criminal Assets Management Department of Home Prem Prasad Bhattarai has been sent to the Chief District Officer of Lalitpur, while Lalitpur Chief District Officer Suman Ghimire has been brought to the same department. The ministry's notification states that the recruitment of district magistrates of Rupandehi, Kailali, Nawalparasi, Mahottari, Dolakha, Parsa, Udayapur, Dadeldhura, Lamjung, Banke, Bardiya, Jumla, Arghakhanchi, Rautahat, Kapilvastu, Sindhuli, Achham, Gulmi, Sunsari, Lalitpur, Bhaktapur, Morang, Jhapa, Kavre, Bara, Dhankuta, Dhanusha, Makwanpur, Gorkha, Sarlahi and Siraha has been started.
