President Ram Chandra Poudel has received this year's Tihar tika from his sisters Sharada Pandit and Chanda Ojha in an auspicious occasion.

President Paudel received tika from his sisters Sharada and Chanda at the auspicious time of 11:39 am at the Presidential Palace, Sheetal Niwas, on Thursday, the President's Personal Secretariat said.

The Nepal Panchanga Selection Committee had fixed the best time for this year's Bhai Tika at 11:39 am. The committee has stated that even after the best time for Bhai Tika has been fixed, tika can be done throughout the day.
