Three people have died and nine others have been injured in a tractor-trailer accident in Dhobeni River under Lamkichuwa Municipality in the district.
The tractor with the number 01002 Ta 4951 of Sudurpaschim Province, which was going from Bardagoriya Rural Municipality-4 to Chisapani, met with an accident today. Dan Bahadur Saud, 64, Hark Saud, 34, and Sheetal Saud, 16, of Bardagoriya Rural Municipality-4, died on the spot, said Chief Police Inspector Lokendra Bahadur Singh of the Area Police Office, Lamki.
The injured in the accident were rescued with the help of locals and police and sent to Lal Ratna Hospital in Lamki, according to the police. More details about the injured are yet to come.
The tractor went out of control and the accident occurred, said Police Inspector Singh.
