377 police assistant inspectors have been graduated from Nepal Police Academy, Bharatpur. The Police Assistant Inspector Basic Training (2-179) batch was inducted by Inspector General of Police Chandrakuber Khapung during a program today.
Addressing the convocation ceremony, he instructed the officers to work with dedication and devotion to duty while enhancing the dignity of the police organization. He said, “I instruct them to follow the subjects learned in the training while protecting the dignity of the organization.” Since they have to work directly with the public, they should work honestly towards the organization, he said.
Stating that the presence and honesty of the police alone can ensure security for the common citizen, Inspector General of Police Khapung urged them to take the presence of the police as an opportunity rather than a fixed-term stay. Stating that the duty and religion of the police is to serve the citizens, he urged them to work accordingly as they are the first responders of every incident in the police society, which has been providing impeccable service through 2,660 units in the country.
Those who were inducted at the convocation ceremony had participated in the training since Mangsir 7, 2081 BS. 377 police assistant inspectors, including 53 women, have been inducted.
Director of the National Police Training Academy, Deputy Inspector General of Police Dipendra GC, Commandant of the academy, Senior Superintendent of Police Bhupendra Bahadur Khatri, Deputy Superintendent of Police Arjun KC and others shared their views at the program. Family members of the graduates were present at the convocation ceremony.
