The Ministry of Home Affairs has written to districts that are not involved in disaster risk and response to conduct public services.
In the notification issued today by Suman Bhattarai, the branch officer of the ministry, it is mentioned that districts which are not involved in disaster risk response have been requested to run public services. About three dozen districts have been affected due to the rains that have been happening since October 17.
Disaster risk and response work is being done in those districts.
