Authority spokesperson Shanti Mahat said that 44 people have died and five people are missing today. He informed that 50 districts have been affected by the latest system, with 37 people killed in landslides in Ilam today.

In the records of disaster events released by the authority today, it is mentioned that 30 people died due to flood, 6 due to heavy rain, 23 due to fire, 8 due to wind storm, 22 due to animal attack and 19 due to lake .
Similarly, 23 people have disappeared due to floods, three due to landslides and one due to animal attacks. Spokesperson Mahat also said that there have been 4 thousand 65 disaster incidents and 1 thousand 72 people have been injured in those incidents. She informed that a total of seven thousand 211 families were affected by the disaster.
