It has been raining in many places of the country including Kathmandu valley since this morning. According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, Weather Forecasting Division, the amount of rainfall has increased since this morning.

In the last one hour, it has rained 10 mm in Parsa and 10.6 mm in Rautahat. It is reported that it is raining till Mahottari and Dhanusha. Information officer of the department Dinkar Kayastha informed that in the last 12 hours, the maximum rainfall was 83.2 mm in Garbha of Kailali. According to him, in 12 hours, 40 mm of rain has fallen in Parsa and 28 mm in Bara. The
department has warned of heavy to very heavy rains today and tomorrow. More rain is expected at night. At present, especially in many places of Bagmati Province and Madhes Province, in some places of Gandaki Province and Lumbini Province and in few places of Koshi Province Light to moderate rain with thunder/lightning.
The rain system is moving towards the east-northeast direction and the rain will continue in that area, so it is requested to be alert and get information about the latest weather information
