Prime Minister Sushila Karki has asked the citizens to be safe and cautious saying that the government is with us in case of disaster.

Addressing the countrymen, she said that the safety of the citizens is the government's foremost concern. Prime Minister Karki has issued a video message in the name of the countrymen after the floods and landslides have increased and said that the government is ready to provide immediate rescue in case of trouble. 

'When doing any work, do a pre-assessment of the risk and give safety a high priority. Your safety is our foremost concern, do not hesitate to get the necessary assistance,' she said in the video message of the Prime Minister, 'We understand your concerns and difficulties. I want to make it clear, you are not alone in this. All the resources of the state are with you.

Stating that there is a high risk of floods, landslides, inundation and erosion, she informed that this situation is increasing. "Stay safe where you are and inspire others to stay safe," urged the Prime Minister.

She also said that all the government agencies are fully prepared with high morale despite adverse conditions for rescue and relief. We are at high risk of floods, landslides, inundation and erosion. The situation of risk is increasing. Currently, the flow of rivers is at the level of high alert. Due to continuous rains, there is a high possibility that it will go to the danger level. There is also the risk of landslides in many places," Prime Minister Karki said, "In this challenging time, I want to assure all citizens that all government agencies are fully prepared with high morale despite adverse conditions for rescue and relief."

Nepal Police, armed forces, Nepali army, health workers, administration and other service agencies are ready 24 hours a day to provide emergency services to citizens as soon as possible.

She has informed through a message that she is actively monitoring important highways and other infrastructure.
