The Ministry of Communication and Information Technology has requested to be contacted if communication services are interrupted in any part of the country or if there is a need to transmit any emergency information related to it.

The Ministry issued a statement today stating that daily life is being affected due to continuous heavy rains in most parts of the country and requested to contact various service provider organizations and ministries in Nepal. 

has requested to contact the number 1498 of the telecommunication company, 9005 of Ncell, 9851087432 and 9841376203 and 9849053663 and 9841520115 of the Ministry and the number of the Nepal Telecommunication Authority. The discussion held today between the Ministry of Communication and the representatives of the related agencies has decided to make necessary preparations so as not to block the media in this difficult time and to act more carefully to provide correct information to the citizens during the disaster.  

'According to the forecast of the Department of Water and Meteorology, heavy rain will continue for three more days. In this time of disaster, we all need to be alert to protect the lives of citizens and prevent loss of property. In the presence of the Minister of Communication and Information Technology Jagdish Kharel, the discussion between the Ministry of Communication and the representatives of the related bodies today has decided to work with more urgency', said in a statement issued by the Ministry.
