Monsoon entered Nepal on June 15th and spread all over the country on June 6th. According to the Department of Water and Meteorology, although the earliest date for the withdrawal of the monsoon is October 2 i.e. Thursday, it has reactivated when the monsoon reached its second half.
Meenkumar Aryal, a senior meteorologist of the Weather Forecasting Division, said that although the earliest date for the onset of monsoon is June 13, this year it has entered Nepal 15 days earlier and its exit will be delayed for some time.
He said that due to the effect of monsoon air, local system and low pressure system generated from the Bay of Bengal, the weather has changed from this afternoon to very heavy rain for a few days.
Senior meteorologist Aryal informed that there will be more rain on Saturday and Sunday and it will gradually improve from Monday. "After that, how the effect of the west wind comes will determine whether the monsoon will come out," he said.
This year's monsoon entered from the eastern part of the country on June 15 and spread over most of the Koshi region, but on June 29 it reached some parts of Madhes, Bagmati and Gandaki regions and some parts of the eastern region of Lumbini region. It was spread all over the country from June 6.
