The Weather Forecast Division under the Department of Water and Meteorology has requested to be on high alert as the Monsoon will become more active on Saturday and Sunday, saying that there is a possibility of heavy rain in some parts of the country.

In the next 24 hours, the division issued a weather bulletin, there is a possibility of heavy rain in a few places in the hilly and terai areas of Koshi province, Madhes province, Bagmati province and Gandaki province and one or two places in the terai area of ​​Lumbini province. It has been informed that there is a possibility of very heavy rain in one or two places in the hilly and terai areas of Madhes Province, Bagmati Province and Gandaki Province. 

Monsoon air generated in the Arabian Sea and the Bay of Bengal has been predicted to be more active from Saturday morning. 

Meteorologist Pratima Manandhar informed that there is light to moderate rain in few places of Koshi Pradesh, Bagmati Pradesh, Gandaki Pradesh and Lumbini Pradesh  She informed that there is a possibility of heavy rain in some places of Muluk on Saturday and Sunday and the weather will gradually improve from Monday. "Currently, there is an effect of water vapor air (monsoon air) from the Bay of Bengal," she said.
