dialogue, Home Secretary Rameshwar Dangal gave information about the necessary discussions, instructions and also the vehicular traffic on some highways for the initiatives to be taken by the state for possible disaster management.

Secretary Dangal urged the non-governmental sector to recognize its role in the context of disasters and contribute to reducing the loss of human resources that may occur due to disasters in the situation of political fluidity and uncertainty.

The heads and officials and experts of various national and international organizations and networks gave information about the preparedness and rescue and relief capacity of their respective organizations and suggested that brief and clear information should be disseminated according to the weather and river conditions.

President of Disaster Dialogue and Executive Head of National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority, Dinesh Bhatt informed that an agreement has been reached with helicopter, drone, boat related organizations and the private sector in view of potential disasters and said that they will receive their support in the event of a disaster.

Executive Chief Bhatt expressed his commitment that the updated information on the forecast will be communicated to the community as quickly and understandably as possible and urged the non-governmental sector to activate all networks for this. In the

dialogue, senior flood expert Vinod Parajuli and meteorologist Vinu Maharjan of the Department of Water and Meteorology informed that there is a possibility of heavy rain in some places of Koshi, Madhes, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces on October 18 and very heavy rain is possible in some places of Koshi, Madhes, Bagmati and Gandaki on October 19.
