On the main day of Durga Paksha, the red tika symbol of auspicious day and Jamra symbol of prosperity are being worn by the hands of many people as Prasad of Navadurga.

Prasad, which has been worshiped for nine days in the Dasainghar or Pooja room, is taken today by the dignitaries . The Nepal Panchang Adjudicatory Development Committee has said that 11:53 a.m. is the best time to find the time to receive Tika Prasad.

Chairman of the committee Prof. Shambhu Prasad Dhakal said that since Vijayadashami is an auspicious day in itself, there is no need to look for a time to apply tika today.

On the day of Ghatasthapana, the tika of Vijayadashami is anointed with Vedic rituals from the gada established. Vijayadashami, which is celebrated on the day of Ashwin Shukla Dashami, is celebrated today with great joy by offering Tika, Jamra, as an offering to Durga Bhavani. Those who do not pray today will be able to receive Tika from the holy people until all sacrifices are fulfilled on the occasion of Kojagrata Purnima .

The committee has informed that the time of immersion of the goddess who was invoked at the place where Jamra was kept is at 09:23 this morning. 

The one who gets vaccinated should go back to the east, the one who gets vaccinated should go back to the west

Today on Vijayadashami, the moon is in Capricorn, so the person who gets vaccinated says that he should go back to the east  Theologian and committee member Prof. Dr. Devmani Bhattarai . It is classically believed that those who get vaccinated should turn to the west.

He told that this should be done because it is auspicious to move the moon to the right and to the front. The direction of return of the person to be vaccinated and the person receiving the vaccination will be determined based on the sign of the Moon until the full moon day.

From today to Purnima, when taking Tika as an offering to Durga from the dignitaries, along with other flowers, the yellow Jamra placed in the Vedic method is considered as a symbol of prosperity . The fact that Jamra works as a medicine for various diseases has been scientifically confirmed.      

After abhisheka with the water of Purna Kalash, established on the day of Ghatasthapana, there will be peace throughout the year. Celebrated as a symbol of the victory of truth over falsehood and divine power over demonic power, Vijayadashami is the most important day of Badasa. 

There is a religious belief that Vijayadashami was started to be celebrated from that time, because Lord Rama won victory over Ravana, who became the symbol of falsehood, in Treta Yuga. Therefore, this day is also considered as a symbol of victory.      

Today, from the hands of Guru Purohit, Grandfather, Grandmother, Father, Mother, Dear people and elders, Tika, Jamra and Prasad Thapi of Nava Durga Bhavani are taken from them to get fame, prosperity, increase in working ability and longevity.
