Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office has informed that 58 thousand 396 people and 13 thousand 326 passenger vehicles have left Kathmandu Valley in the last 24 hours only.
6 lakh 11 thousand 657 people have left Kathmandu in the ninth day from Dasain Ghatasthapana to today.
According to the Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office, from the day the reduction started on October 6, until today, that number of passengers have left Kathmandu Valley through various checkpoints. Similarly, 58 thousand 396 people have left Kathmandu Valley in the last 24 hours only.
Nareshraj Subedi, Spokesperson of Traffic Police Office and Superintendent of Police informed that the number of citizens leaving Kathmandu Valley is increasing rapidly with the beginning of Dasain and 13 thousand 326 passenger vehicles have left the valley in the last 24 hours.
He said, 'Now the number of people leaving the capital has increased, vehicles are moving normally at the entry and exit points of Kathmandu.' Since Ghatasthapana till today, the number of vehicles that have left Kathmandu Valley has reached 113,415. The main destinations of those who travel by these vehicles are the districts of the eastern, western and far western provinces of the country.
3 lakh 19 thousand 15 people have entered Kathmandu Valley from 77 thousand 545 vehicles till today according to the Valley Traffic Police Office. Especially Koteshwar, Kalanki, Balkhu, New Bus Park, Jagati and other crossings have seen a rush of passengers.
