department, said, 'According to the current weather analysis, although the effect of monsoon air is weak in Nepal, the low pressure system developed in the Bay of Bengal is going to enter from Orissa in India through the land area and gradually move towards central India. He said that due to the low pressure system, monsoonal air with water vapor will enter Nepal and from October 17 (Ekadashi) there is a possibility that monsoon activity will be active in various parts of the country, especially Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces.
'Therefore, the effect of monsoon air will remain in Nepal throughout the tenth period of this year. Currently Weather is changing in Nepal due to the influence of monsoon air and the development of local air in Nepal,' he said.
On October 17 (Ekadashi), some places in the hills and terai areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces and few places in the remaining provinces received light to moderate rain.
