Prime Minister Sushila Karki has decided not to wear Tikajamara on Dasain this year. His personal secretariat said that many young people had lost their lives during the Gen-Ji movement.

In the statement issued by the Prime Minister's Secretariat, it is also mentioned that Karki will not wear Tika Jamra while mentioning the fact that 'Badasain is a festival celebrated with great joy every year.

'This year, the Prime Minister will not be vaccinated for Badadasain and there is no program to vaccinate the countrymen as well', the secretariat said.

Similarly, Prime Minister Karki has said that the government is determined to hold the election on the appointed date while delivering Dasain greetings. She mentioned that the government is committed to maintaining good governance as the current government was formed on the foundation of the unprecedented movement of the young generation.
