As per the tradition, flowers were brought inside the Dasainghar at Gorkha Palace today. Sharda Prasad Bhattarai, the chief priest of Gorkhakali temple, informed that on the occasion of Phulpati on the seventh day of Badadasain, Phulpati was brought into the palace in the auspicious evening.

He said that the flowers taken from the Phoolpati Chautara in Tallakot were brought into the dasainghar of the Palace. Chief Purohit Bhattarai said, 'The team from the Gorkha palace with the tableau and the tableau has brought the flowers to Dasainghar with joy.' 

On the day of Phulpati, there is a custom of bringing Phulpati inside the Gorkha Palace at the time when the sun is half below and the sun is half above the hill visible from Rawan to the west.

Earlier, a team of officials from Durbar, Nepali Army, Nepal Police, government employees and local residents reached Peepal Danda in Tatllokot along with Lavalaskar at Phoolpati Chautara to collect Phulpati at night.

Darik, vine leaves, sugarcane plants, banana leaves, ginger plants and seasonal fruits brought from the forest last night were brought into Dasainghar as per tradition according to the chief priest Bhattarai .

Before the flowers were brought into the palace, the Mangalinis from the Gorkha palace sang Mangalgeet and Malshree Raag cheering and the bearers reached the stairs to spread the flowers . The original priest Bhattarai informed that flower pots were brought into the palace after special worship at the stairs of the Gorkha Palace. 

Earlier this morning, flowers were sent from Dasainghar of Gorkha Durbar to Hanuman Dhoka Durbar in Kathmandu.
