Prime Minister Sushila Karki has said that discussions and studies are being conducted on the possibility of Nepalis who are outside the country to vote from abroad as well.
He said this while addressing the nation on Thursday. The Ministry of Home Affairs is studying by forming a working group to give the right to vote to Nepalis abroad. Prime Minister Karki informed that the Nepalese government is discussing with the Election Commission about the possibility of Nepali citizens who are outside the country due to employment to vote abroad.
During her speech, she said that the current government is positive towards the decent employment of Nepali citizens working abroad and the protection of the rights and interests of the three and the constitutional demands raised by non-Nepali citizens. .
