Journalist Jagdish Kharel used to ask real questions to the leaders who came to Image Channel's talk show 'Hot Seat'. His style was also preferred by the audience. Jagdish, who asked the real question yesterday, has now come to the place of answering himself.

After he assumed the post of Minister of Communication and Information Technology on the recommendation of Prime Minister Sushila Karki, everyone is curious about his leadership.

Recently, he was in charge of the news editor of Image Channel, and he came to the path of journalism from Image Radio 2 and a half decades ago . Everyone is open to the question of how Jagdish will fulfill the trust earned by Jagdish in the interim government led by Sushila Karki.  

Jagdish, who was born in 2039 in Sunkhani village of Dolakha, was influenced by Ba's activities in social work. He used to go to various meetings with Ba. Even at the age of 8/9 years, he would ask important questions and queries in meetings with Ba. Whether in the village or in Kalinag Secondary School, he was known as a strong speaker everywhere.

After the elocution competition he won while studying in class 6, he also started participating in the district level program . He also came from there with a medal. At that time, Jagdish thought , ' I can eat by speaking .' Wherever he participated in the competition, , everyone praised him and said - you should do politics . That work in the media .

After passing SLC and reaching Kathmandu, his elder brother Deepesh Kharel, realizing his brother's talent, suggested , ' you should study journalism.' Then Jagdish started seeing a future in the media. On top of that, he likes to listen to the radio very much. While working or reading, , radio was not playing for him. A year ago ' On Ear with Sanjay Silwal Gupta' podcast program, Sanjay Silwal Gupta asked Jagdish , ' if you had done politics  ?' his answer , ' there were two possibilities . I could have become a martyr , if I had gone to the Maoists.' They are also active in politics now. But Jagdish did not take the political path . Hold the rhythm of journalism . Out of the two paths before him at that time, now his political journey has started.

From image to image

057 years. In Kathmandu, he went to various institutes to learn the art of speech. One of them was Reyukai Nepal . Out of 94 there, he topped the batch . Bharat Shakya, station manager of Image Channel, had reached there to train. Jagdish wanted to speak on the radio anyway.

, Gagan Thapa facilitated me to work in Image Radio ," Jagdish told in the podcast with Sanjay. At that time, Gagan and Thapa and Ravi Lamichhane were also running programs on that radio.  His first program was , 'Prasangabus'.  After that, from reading the news to running various programs, he handled the responsibility . He was busy on the radio from 5 am to 9 pm. From 2009, he shifted to Image Channel.   Lately, he was always raising real questions about political leadership and power. Jagdish, who created the image of a fearless journalist, has now got the responsibility of the Ministry of Communication.
