Addressing a special ceremony held at the President's Office Sheetal Niwas on the occasion of Constitution Day (National Day), 2082, he said that since there was no way to form the Council of Ministers from the House of Representatives, the country was freed from the crisis caused by consensus.
President Ramchandra Paudel has called upon all concerned to play a role in completing the election on time.
Addressing a special ceremony held at the President's Office Sheetalniwas on the occasion of Constitution Day (National Day), 2082, he said that since there was no way to form the Council of Ministers from the House of Representatives, the country was resolved by consensus.
President Paudel, in view of the dire situation that has arisen in the country, referred to the situation of the current political exit to hold the election of the House of Representatives within six months and requested all related parties to support the steps taken in favor of a sustainable political exit by completing the election of the House of Representatives within the specified time frame.
He called upon all the political parties, bodies involved in the administration and management of the country, intellectual communities and citizens to leave disagreements and conflicts and be active for the success of the elections with coordination and cooperation without prejudice.
He mentioned that he strongly believes that democracy will be strengthened with the participation of every generation and recalled that he himself entered politics for democracy in 2017 at the young age of 17.
President Paudel called on everyone to resolve on Constitution Day that we will remain committed to democracy, we will move forward with citizens at the center, we will remain committed to good governance and we will bring politics, state and politics within the limits of ethics, integrity and values.
President Paudel said that the country has once again entered a new path of change with a new dream, mentioning that the spirit of democracy and the constitution, the dream of change of the new generation and the desire of the people at that time did everything that could be done together.
President Paudel mentioned that our culture, nature and geographical diversity have unlimited possibilities and made it clear that if these possibilities can be used in a fair way, the standard of living of Amnepali can be transformed.
If President Paudel prioritizes today's good governance, end of corruption, job creation, environmental sustainability and social justice, an egalitarian and prosperous Nepal envisioned by the constitution will be possible. Everyone asked to think about that and move forward. In the
ceremony, Vice President Ram Sahay Prasad Yadav, Prime Minister Sushila Karki, Chief Justice Prakashmansingh Raut, Speaker Devraj Ghimire, National Assembly Speaker Narayan Prasad Dahal, former presidents Dr. Ramvaran Yadav and Vidya Devi Bhandari, former prime ministers Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Jhalnath Khanal, Madhav Kumar Nepal and Dr. Baburam Bhattarai and representatives of Genji generation were present.
Likewise, heads and representatives of constitutional bodies, high-ranking officers, heads of security agencies, heads and representatives of diplomatic missions in Nepal and dignitaries from various sectors of society participated.
