There is a possibility of heavy rain at one or two places in hilly and terai areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini regions.
According to the Department of Hydrometeorology, Weather Forecasting Division, the Monsoon low pressure line is located around Sardar place in all of Nepal. According to the department, it will be generally cloudy throughout the country today.
There is a possibility of moderate rain in some places in the hilly areas of the country including Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini and few places in the rest of the country. There is a possibility of heavy rain in one or two places in the hilly and terai areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini.
In addition, it will be generally cloudy in the rest of the hilly areas of the country including Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces tonight, while it will remain partly cloudy in the rest of the plains. There is a possibility of moderate rain in a few places of Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces and one or two places in the rest of the land.
The department has predicted that there is a risk of landslides and debris flows due to rain, water levels in large and small rivers and streams may rise and transport areas may be affected, and requested everyone to be alert and prepared.
