Today Kaligarhs are celebrating Vastu Diwas and Vishwakarma Puja by worshiping Vishwakarma. As every year, on the day of Kanya, or Ashwin Sankranti, Vishwakarma is going to be worshipped.

 

This day is celebrated by ritually worshiping the sand idol or image of Lord Vishwakarma in various factories. This day is celebrated by specially decorating the factory and making the workers participate. The statue of Vishwakarma made of sand and other materials is kept in the Bagmati spring water or other pure water. After worshiping today, the idol in the river will be sold from Thursday.

There is a religious belief that if worship is performed on the various tools used in Kaligarh these days, they will last for a long time, will not break down during work and will be able to do good work.

There is a religious belief that Vishwakarma hid Lord Krishna in the middle of the sea by creating 'Bhed Dwaraka' after the demons gave him trouble in the Dwapara Yuga . Prof. Toyraj Nepal, a theologian, says that Vishwakarma is considered a successful architect because he built 'Bhed Dwarka' in the middle of the sea in one night.

Dwarka is considered as the protector of the western direction among the guardian deities of the four directions in ancient India. Bheda  created by Vishwakarma. Dwarka' is still believed to be located in the middle of the sea in the Indian state of Gujarat. Vishwakarma is considered as a specialist in Vastu Vidya . According to Vastu Shastri Shiv Pokharel, who is believed to have composed the text of Vastu Shastra named 'Vishwakarma Prakash'.

In memory of this, the Kaligarhs of Nepal today honor Vishwakarma Baba in a grand manner and honor his wisdom. If you do this, it is believed that you will get the qualities of Vishwakarma. In this belief, worship is done today even in vehicles with engines.

Architects celebrate this day as Vastu Day in memory of the author and scholar of Vastu book. Lately, the renaissance of Vastu Vidya has started in Nepal. In one of the four Upavedas, the subject of Vastu Shastra is mentioned in Sthapatyaveda . Endangered:  The number of people building cities and housing based on the existing architectural Vedas has started to increase . That is why the importance of Vastu Vidya has increased now.
