The Directorate of Military Public Relations and Information said that the bodies of those who died during the demonstration on August 23 and 24, along with their family members, were taken to Sunsari, Udaipur, Siraha, Dhankuta and Sankhuwasabha districts.

Home Minister Omprakash Aryal took office on Monday and decided that the government will deliver the bodies of the people who died in the protest to their homes. So far, 72 people have been confirmed dead during the demonstration.
