National Independent Party Chairman Ravi Lamichhane has been released from Nakkhu prison. According to Lalitpur SSP Shyamakrishna Adhikari, Lamichhane was taken out of Nakkhu Jail during the Genji movement.
The protestors had gathered outside the Nakhkhu prison since Tuesday morning. Lamichhane was taken out after the prison administration failed to stop those who came to take him.
Lamichhane was remanded in custody on co-operative fraud charges .
