The two general ministers of the ruling Congress, Gagan Thapa and Vishwaprakash Sharma, have asked Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli to resign and pave the way. Thapa and Sharma also conclude that the rationale of the seven-point agreement reached during the formation of the UML and Congress government has ended.
Thapa and Sharma issued a statement on Tuesday and advised the ministers participating in the government to resign.
'We requested many times in the party meetings, in the parliament and in public places that the government should be properly run. But neither the government nor the style of the Prime Minister. Finally, due to the Prime Minister's behavior, dissatisfaction among the citizens increased. The oppression of the Genji generation, who came out on the streets with just demands such as opening social networks, controlling corruption, and maintaining good governance, is reprehensible. He did not ask for any chair. But due to the inaction of the government, the promising youth had to die a brutal death,' they said, 'the rationale of the 7-point agreement has ended. We have recently requested the Speaker to recall the ministers of the party from the government. The chairman should make a decision immediately, otherwise we will be forced to take action by deciding through other processes.'
