RSVP has demanded the resignation of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and demanded a fresh mandate (early election). General Minister Kavindra Burlakoti issued a statement condemning the government's suppression of Gen-G's demonstration on Monday.

Stating that the rationale of the current government has been completely exhausted, Chief Minister Burlakoti has said, 'We demand the immediate resignation of the Prime Minister in view of the fact that the rationale of the current government has been completely exhausted. In addition, we demand that a high-level judicial inquiry commission be formed to conduct a fair investigation of the incident, and strict action should be taken against all the culprits, including the Home Minister.'

Similarly, RSVP has said that the Congress-UML government has failed to solve any national issue. The statement said, 'We conclude that the current federal parliament dominated by Nepali Congress and CPN-UML has lost its legitimacy and is unable to solve any national issue.'

RSVP also warns that the current government will face public opposition, 'The people will no longer tolerate the attempt to prolong the misrule by drowning in the blood of their own children  And this will be the people's protest against the terror regime.'
