8 people died in trauma center, 3 in Everest, 3 in civil hospital, 1 in university teaching and 2 in KMC. 347 injured people are being treated in various hospitals. 100 in Civil, 59 in Trauma, 102 in Everest, 37 in KMC, 6 in Veer and 4 in Patan Hospital, 18 in Trivi Shikshan, 3 in Norvik, 2 in BP Institute, 1 in Gandaki Medical College, 4 in Virat Medical College and 7 in Damak Hospital. Along with the death of two people, 19 people died during the demonstration.
According to Everest Hospital official Anil Adhikari, there are 4 people in serious condition. Dr. Dipendra Pandey of Trauma Center said that 10 people are in critical condition in trauma. They have been shot in the head and chest.
The police fired water cannons, tear gas and bullets at the protestors. The injured are being treated at Trauma, Civil, Everest and other hospitals.
'Jen-G's' have come out to demonstrate against corruption. Demonstrations are being held in the main cities of the country including Kathmandu.
