Addressing the 27th Annual General Meeting and Convention of Nepal Economic Journalist Society (SEJAN) here today, he said that the communication sector should proceed with both critical and suggestive approaches.
"It is the responsibility of communication to clearly expose the government's policy errors or weaknesses in implementation to the public," said Paudel, "and it is equally important to inform the citizens about the government's achievements and public interest." On that occasion, Finance Minister Paudel emphasized the importance of economic journalism and mentioned that the role of journalists is indispensable to strengthen the country's economy.
