Meteorologists have reported moderate rainfall in some places of Bagmati region. Today, it will be generally cloudy across the country. The Water and Weather Forecasting Division said that the Monsoon low pressure line is currently south of Sardar and will remain generally cloudy over the country this afternoon.
According to the division, there is a possibility of moderate rainfall in some places of hilly areas of the country including Bagmati Province, Gandaki Province and Lumbini Province and one or two places in Terai region. There is also a possibility of storm in few places of Madhes province and Terai region of Lumbini province.
The department has requested everyone to be alert and prepared, projecting that the water level in large and small rivers and streams may rise due to rain and the transport sector may be affected.
