After five weeks, flights have resumed at Resunga Airport. Due to adverse weather conditions, regular flights could not be conducted for the last five weeks.

Resunga station chief of Nepal Airlines Corporation, Suman Thapa, informed that the last flight was interrupted on Thursday. Airport has a weekly schedule of four regular flights. Although there were no flights as per the schedule, one or two weekly flights were being made, but due to the weather, the flights were also affected.

The fare rate of Kathmandu-Resunga is 7 thousand 500 rupees per passenger and Resunga-Kathmandu is 7 thousand 300 rupees  Resunga station chief Thapa said.

Resunga Airport is covered in fog during the rainy season. Due to the fact that the plane has to land at the airport as far as the naked eye can see, during the rainy season, there are many problems with the plane landing.

Nepal Airlines' TwinOtter plane under Nepal Airlines Corporation started regular flight from 2080 Baisakh after successful testing at Resunga Airport. The ship has been departing Kathmandu-Resunga at 6:30 am and Resunga-Kathmandu at 7:40 am. An initiative was taken for regular flights from Resunga Airport under the leadership of Resunga Municipality.
