Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has completed his official visit to China and left for home on Wednesday. He went there on the 14th of August at the friendly invitation of the President of China, Xi Jinping, and left for his country after completing his visit.

Prime Minister Oli was bid farewell at the international airport in Beijing by high-ranking Chinese officials, the Chinese ambassador to Nepal and the Nepalese ambassador to China. Prime Minister Oli headed a 23-member Nepali delegation to participate in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit on August 14, 2018, for Tianjin, China. He also participated in the 80th anniversary special military parade organized in Beijing today. During the

visit, Prime Minister Oli had separate meetings with world leaders including Chinese President Xi Jinping, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and Russian Federation President Vladimir Putin. He addressed the summit held in Tianjin on August 16. Nepal has been a dialogue partner of the organization since 2016.

Prime Minister Oli is accompanied by his wife Radhika Shakya, Education, Science and Technology Minister Raghuji Pant, Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Minister Badri Prasad Pandey, Nepali Congress MP Purna Bahadur Khadka, Prime Minister's Economic and Development Advisor Dr. Yuvraj Khatiwada, Nepal Communist Party (UML) MP Chabilal Bishwakarma and other high level government officials.
