This is how common people were cheated

On 17 October 2062, a company was registered under the name of Unity Life International Company Limited at the office of the company registrar under the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supply . The General Manager of which was Shishir Yogi, Chairman and Managing Director Vishnu Chhetri.

And the company started collecting 15 thousand 750 rupees per person as a health program by making customers. A scheme of 5 lakh rupees accidental death insurance was announced from that amount or after 5 years money will be returned with 10% annual interest.

After that, the company started showing the temptation to the customers that the industry will be operated by investing in many sectors including health, food, tourism, agriculture. He dreamed of establishing a hospital in Kathmandu, Pokhara, Itahari, Hetaunda, Nawalparasi, Baglung, Syangja, Damauli Dang, registering 14 departmental stores from Mechi to Mahakali and providing food and other services, opening a bamboo ply wood factory using bamboo and creating jobs in that factory. He also claimed that some businesses have been operated.

Unity, which has been conducting various schemes including the Airport Arrival Plan, has announced plans to start air lines (air services). It also announced plans to purchase and operate Boeing 787 aircraft through its official website. The plane which was told to fly Kathmandu-Kuala Lumpur .

gradually moved forward with the plans of free health services for life, microfinance operations, cooperative operations, cooperation with national level hydropower companies, insurance companies, etc. .

With various plans, the company started preparing a pyramid structure . According to which, the customer created two more members and shared the dream of being able to earn from 5000 to 175000 every week. In this way, new customers were created and customers were expanded in a pyramid style by giving commissions.

At the same time, Unity Life changed the name of Madhyamanchal Gramin Bikas Bank to Unity Gramin Bikas Bank without taking permission from Rashtra Bank. After the news of collection of deposits without the permission of Rashtra Bank and fraud of common people's money was published, the District Attorney's Office formed an investigation committee by the Ministry of Finance on 9 Baisakh. The report was submitted in 2067 . The investigation committee concluded that there was illegal trading.

On June 28 of the same year, the District Public Prosecutor's Office Lalitpur filed a case in the District Court Lalitpur against the owners of Unity for changing their name without permission, collecting deposits without permission and cheating the public through temptation.

After the debate, the court released four people, including general manager Shishir Yogi, on bail and ordered five people, including Indra Bahadur Vick, to be kept in custody for preliminary investigation. But before that, during the investigation, in October 2064, the directors of Unity filed a writ in the Supreme Court saying that they were conducting business legally but there was interference.

Even though there is a provision to go to the Supreme Court after the order of the district and higher, they went to the Supreme Court without completing the process. The Supreme Court dismissed the writ in March 2068 saying that the work of Unity was illegal.

After the order of the Supreme Court, the directors were found guilty for filing a case in Lalitpur district by the government, but on the other hand, the Supreme Court acquitted them all. After that, the directors also filed a writ application for the government's appeal against the higher order in the Supreme Court.

Four writs were filed, two on behalf of the government and two on behalf of the Unity management, but the hearing could not take place despite repeated requests. In the appeal registered in the Supreme Court in March 2074, the order to procure missiles was issued for the first time in 2075.

The case, which has been circulating in the district, high court and supreme court for ten years, was settled after hearing in the bench of 24 judges.
