Rain blocked nine highways

The roads of Myagdi, Rukumpaschim, Dolpa and Darchula have been completely blocked while some other roads are operating one-way.

Due to incessant rains, nine highways have been completely blocked by landslides in different parts of the country. According to the police head office, Koshi highway at Bhotkhola in Sankhuwasabha, Nepal-China bridge in Rasuwa, Pasanglhamu highway in Rasuwa, Arani highway in Sindhupalchok were completely blocked.

Kaligandaki corridor in Baglung, Beni-Darbang road in Myagdi, Jajarkot in Rukumpaschim, Dolpa Bheri corridor and Gokuleswar-Darchula road in Darchula have been completely blocked. 

Likewise, Tehrathum's Madhyapahari Lokmarg, Rasuwa's Uttargaya, Pasanglhamu Highway and Prithvi Highway have been operated one-way.

Kaligandaki Corridor east of Nawalparasi, Prithvi Highway in Tanahun, Rapti Highway in Dang and Saljhandi Dhorpatan road section in Arghakhanchi have been operated one-way.
