Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has informed the House of Representatives about the schedule of his visit to China. Addressing the meeting of the Assembly on Friday, he informed about the 5-day official visit to China from August 14 to 18.
He has informed that he will lead the Nepali delegation participating in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit to be held in Tianjin, China.
He said that the main purpose of the visit is to present Nepal's perspective and priorities at the SCO conference. According to him, there is also a program of bilateral meetings with Chinese President Xi Jinping and Vice President Han Chang during the visit. During the SCO Summit, bilateral and other priority issues related to Nepal will be discussed with the Heads of State and Government of various friendly countries, he informed. .
He also said that he will participate in the 80th anniversary celebrations of the anti-fascist war and against Japanese occupation held in Beijing. Prime Minister Oli expressed his belief that Nepal-China friendly relations will be further strengthened through the visit and Nepal's concept and priorities will be clearly presented on the international stage.
