Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that doctors and equipment from all four security agencies including the Nepali Army will be mobilized and used in coordination with the Ministry of Health and Population for the prevention and control of cholera in Birgunj, Parsa.

Addressing the meeting of the House of Representatives today, Prime Minister Oli expressed his belief that the outbreak of cholera in Birganj will be brought under control as the decision was taken by the Council of Ministers today. Expressing grief over the death of three people from the epidemic, he said that the government has taken all possible measures to control it and that the source of the disease is being investigated.  

Prime Minister Oli mentioned that arrangements have been made to treat cholera patients and raise awareness. In addition to free treatment at Narayani Hospital, private hospitals also  He informed the House that he had been treated.
