Monsoon has become somewhat active in some parts of the country due to the increased influence of water vapor air from the Bay of Bengal. The Hydro and Meteorological Forecasting Division has said that the Monsoon low pressure line is currently located in the vicinity of Sardar.

There is a chance of light to moderate rain in the hilly areas of all the states, if it is expected to change over the country this afternoon. Also, there is a possibility of heavy rain in some parts of Koshi, Gandaki and Sudurpaschim provinces. Similarly, it will be partly to mostly cloudy tonight across the country. There is a possibility of heavy rain at one or two places in Koshi and Sudurpaschim provinces.

The department has predicted that there is a risk of landslides and debris flows, water levels in large and small rivers and streams may rise and traffic areas may be affected, and requested everyone to be alert and prepared.
