Ariko Pandey, a central member of the National Independent Party and a former member of the National Planning Commission, has been given an extension of four days for further investigation on the charge of character assassination through social media.

After a complaint filed by a woman, Pandey appeared at the Cyber ​​Bureau of Nepal Police on Wednesday. 

Police Superintendent Deepakraj Awasthi, Information Officer of the Bureau informed that the deadline has been extended by 4 days for further investigation under the Electronic Transactions Act, 2063 by taking the district court for extension.

Pandey became a member of the National Planning Commission when he participated in the RSVP government.
