UML leader Ain Mahar has been arrested. Mahar was arrested on Wednesday for investigation based on the arrest warrant issued by District Court Kathmandu. A complaint of electronic crime was registered against him. Rashmila Dhami, a resident of Bajhang, issued an arrest warrant on August 9 on the basis of a complaint filed by Bajhang resident Rashmila Dhami regarding defamation and character assassination.
Mahar has been arrested by the Cyber Bureau of Police. He is being submitted to the court today for extension.
