On the occasion of a decade since the promulgation of the Constitution of Nepal, the Constitution Day and National Day, 2082 Main Celebration Committee has been formed on Sunday under the chairmanship of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli to celebrate with grandeur this year.
As an achievement of the long and sacrificial struggle of the Nepali people, the day when the Constitution was promulgated on 3rd October 2072 by the Constituent Assembly elected by the people is considered as National Day. As this year marks the 10th anniversary of the promulgation of the Constitution, the Government of Nepal has prepared to make the day more joyful and grand.
In the meeting held on Sunday at the Office of the Prime Minister and the Council of Ministers, Sinha Darbar, the main ceremony committee has been formed to celebrate the day on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th of October by holding various programs including Diwali in Nepal and abroad at the Nepali embassies and missions and also at the people's level. Deputy Prime Ministers, Ministers and Ministers of State, Chief Secretary of the Government of Nepal, Chief of Staff of the Nepalese Army, Secretary of the Government of Nepal and gazetted officers of special categories, heads and deputy heads of local levels of Kathmandu Valley, heads of security agencies and the Secretary of the Ministry of Home Affairs will be members of the main ceremony committee. The meeting has also formed a thematic sub-committee. On the occasion of
day, a main ceremony will be held at Sainik Manch, Tundikhel in Kathmandu on the 3rd of October, in the presence of the general public, and various programs have been proposed at the provincial and local levels. Similarly, on the occasion of the day, programs such as National Anthem and Musical Festival of Patriotism (National Day Concert) and Tableau Exhibition have been proposed. On the occasion of the day, it is proposed to create and conduct creative and creative programs such as special dialogues, seminars and message dramas focusing on the historical background of the current constitution, the importance of the constitution, the aspects inherent in the constitution, and arrangements for broadcasting and publication on Radio Nepal, Nepal Television, community or private sector electronic and print media and social networks. meeting, Prime Minister Oli requested to celebrate the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the declaration of the Constitution in a special way at the national and public level. Prime Minister Oli urged to organize programs up to the ward and school level and to make people more aware of the achievements and importance of the Constitution.
