When they were in Israel, the Nepali ambassador Prof. Dr. Dhanprasad Pandit and the officials of the Israeli government have cooperated and they have met with the president and high government officials and appealed for Bipin's release.
On that occasion, Minister Rana said that the government is making diplomatic efforts for Bipin's release and will strengthen it more in the coming days. Minister Rana informed that she was appointed as a minister about 9 months after Bipin was kidnapped and soon after that she started working on the case as a priority.
Minister Rana said to them, 'In this one year, I have been requesting Bipin's release from the United Nations General Assembly to international forums, various bilateral and international meetings and meetings. We have continued correspondence and other necessary initiatives as much as we can through diplomatic means.'
Minister Rana informed that she has been strongly raising the issue of Bipin's release in meetings and phone conversations with the foreign ministers and officials of Israel, Egypt, Iran, Qatar, United Arab Emirates, Turkey and other countries as well as in the United Nations and other international forums. She also informed that the government will take forward the issue of Bipin's release more vigorously in the coming days. In October 2023, Bipin Joshi was kidnapped from Israel by the Hamas group.
