The meeting of the Central Security Committee has decided to mobilize a medical team to control the spread of cholera in Parsa's Birgunj and to arrange treatment for the affected.

Interior Ministry spokesperson Anand Kafle informed that the decision was taken at a meeting chaired by the Home Minister Ramesh Utkar. The Home Minister also instructed the Nepali Army, Nepal Police and Armed Police Force to make arrangements for teams to be mobilized for cholera control.   'The minister has given instructions to immediately start preparations for the mobilization of teams as per the need,' said spokesperson Kafl.

The peace and security of the country was reviewed in the meeting with Home Secretary Gokarnamani Duwadi and the main participants of the security agencies. 

Meanwhile, health and population minister Pradeep Paudel and drinking water minister Pradeep Yadav have discussed control of Birgunj cholera infection. 

Minister Yadav's private secretariat has informed that Minister Paudel informed that in coordination with the local government, immediate treatment of patients and free tests have been arranged in government and private hospitals.
