State Order and Good Governance Committee Chairman Ramhari Khatiwada, who was found politically and morally responsible by the Parliamentary Inquiry Special Committee for the disturbance related to the 'cooling of period' in the Federal Civil Bill, announced his resignation in the House of Representatives meeting on Tuesday.

In a letter submitted to Speaker Ghimire, Khatiwada has said that he has resigned from the post of the chairman of the state system and governance committee within the House of Representatives with effect from Wednesday as announced in the House of Representatives meeting on Tuesday.
